- Things To Note:
- You are encourage to bring your own fishing rod and gear, while we will provide the bait and everything else. If you cannot bring your gear, we will rent our gear to you at MYR 100 per set.
- Customers are responsible for the broken/damage fishing equipment which are rented from us.
- Fish catch is not guaranteed
- We would recommend you to check with your airlines if they allow check-in baggage which contains frozen seafood as some airlines do not allow.
- Reserves the right to change or cancel tour should conditions beyond our control render it necessary.
About the Fishing Trip:Depending on the length of the fishing trip booked with us, there are many areas off the coast of Sabah for deep sea fishing. For short fishing trips such as a day trip or 2D1N trip, we might head out to the waters around Mengalum Island, 3 hours north-west of Kota Kinabalu by our fishing boat. For longer charter, such as 4 days and beyond, the fishing areas might be islands further off the coast of Kota Kinabalu such as Mantanani Island, which is 6 hours by boat and Layang Layang island which is 10 hours by boat. You will also have time to stopover near the waters of these islands to do some fishing before continuing your journey to the deep sea the next day. The waters around the deep sea are more than 150m deep and you can expect to get a better catch, fishes that are larger in size and more variety.
